The Frensham Pond Hotel started as an Eighteenth Century pub and inn and sits on the edge of an old fish pond originally built for the Bishop of Winchester.

Atelier Wren have designed a complete remodel of the ground floor of the hotel. The scheme will include a new restaurant bordered by bespoke banquettes, upholstered in pink hues and geometric patterned fabrics. A flotilla of boucle upholstered chairs and honey-hued marble tables will fan out from the terracotta and light oak buffet bar, all illuminated by integrated soft lighting.

A new bar where the original inn house served drinks to travellers will now feature patterned light hardwood panelling and organic textures on the walls.

The hotel will also provide a new outdoor beer garden and high-tea terrace seating overlooking the tranquil boating and fishing pond.

The remodelled reception will now welcome guests at a burnished teak reception desk, under a bespoke Atelier Wren designed chandelier.
